My sisters and I visited Rivery Coffeehouse & Desserts for the first time to celebrate our mother’s birthday! We took her for a tea and it was so beautiful and made for a wonderful memory and day together!
We used their online form to make a reservation and the setup was visually so inviting! The tea options are fantastic (I personally recommend the Coconut Oolong) and the pastry items were delicious.
It was such a lovely time, I took my husband there shortly after and we tried their cappuccino and a chai. The cappuccino was strong yet smooth and the chai was decadent.
The ambiance is charming (Patti at Christmas) and staff are friendly.
A very beautiful and aesthetic coffee shop. Good options for snacks and coffee. We were a party of 3 and had a macchiato and 2 americanos with hazelnut flavor. Coffee and snacks were a 3/5 but overall great vibe.
This place was perfectly lovely, and the service was amazing. The price was great for what you get! I will definitely be returning here soon!
Wonderful location and wonderful opportunity however, execution is so very poor!
Took my two grandchildren there today for each an ice cream, $4.50 per scoop! The server had trouble getting the ice cream out of the scooper and so we got a about half a scoop each, rather than a full scoop, even my six-year-old granddaughter exclaimed “that’s a very small scoop” to which the response was “yeah”. My scoop was even smaller, the highest point didn’t even reach the top of the tiny plastic cup, And when I said “wow that is small”, Again, the response was “yeah”. I paid over $13 for three spoonfuls of ice cream!
The other issue was the smell of rotten Eggs in store. Even the grandkids who are only four and six, noticed it and wanted to sit outside.
I don’t know who’s running this place but they’re not making much of an effort. My plan was to get an espresso and a nice pastry but seeing how they handled the ice cream, I decided why bother also, the pastries look rather picked over and no attempt to restock or fill the empty spaces was being made.
What a disappointment! Oh, well, I learn from my mistakes!
Super friendly place. The atmosphere is beautiful! You can tell the owner put a lot of love into the place.
I decided to skip Starbucks and Dutch Bros and try something a little more authentic for a change. I got the breakfast croissant with a side salad and a cafe au lait. The coffee and food was delicious! They have plenty of dessert options too, but my sweet tooth wasn't that active. I'll try something next time I come back.
There's a public parking lot on the other side of the street; you won't find any luck parking in front/super near as it's in the middle of a shopping center and next to apartment complexes, but it's not a long walk. There's a decent amount of seating inside, and there's a few tables for outside seating as well.
It's sort of a hobby of mine, visiting locally owned coffee shops. I'm glad I checked this place. I recommend you do the same!
Very cute coffee place in Georgetown with fresh bakery and desserts, liked the atmosphere and what we ordered, polite friendly staff, if you are looking for quiet place you will like it!
A place that has delicious gluten-free options is always a 5 star in my book?
My auto shop recommended that I try this place out. I originally walked out because I did not know they had gluten-free options on their menu and the line was going out the door. Someone told me they DID have gluten-free options so I went back. I am so glad that I did.
They have the most delicious gluten-free chocolate chip cookies on the planet. I combined that with a caramel pecan gelato and I was in dessert heaven!
The ladies are super friendly. The manager is so kind you just want to give her a hug at first sight. Great service. Great atmosphere. Eat inside or sit on the patio.
No wonder they are so busy at times. If they are busy, it behooves you to walk around a little bit and come back. This little place is more than a coffee shop. And their treats are delicious.
I devoured the chocolate chip cookie before I can get a picture. I just couldn't wait to sink my teeth into that thing. But I did take pictures of other goodies that they had. Enjoy! 😋🥰☺️
I enjoyed this place. My matcha latte was great, and the atmosphere was relaxing and cute. I didn’t love my cookie since I prefer soft cookies, but they looked to have a wide variety of desserts. I would definitely go again.
